THE LITTLE CHUNK

two rabbits traveled a very long distance one day in search of food after the large store of food they had finished. They were once envied by other rabbits around because they had the choicest of food to pick from.
On their way,
lala the black haired rabbit said; it seems our search is endless!
tete the brown haired rabbit on the other hand thought that a little more patience and press may fetch them something good and tasty to eat if only they forged further

it's just because of our long standing friendship that I am going further with this hunt,  i am really tired and famished.

okay then, let's walk slowly in order not to get exhausted. tete told lala.

oh no the butter fly is gone lala said after he tried to reach out for a butterfly that perched on a grass.

never mind, we will get another one soon tete assured.

even if we caught another one, i will eat it alone because a butterfly is way too small to feed the two of us full lala retorted angrily

well I don't have the time to argue what we are yet to see with you, I'll rather save my energy for better things than worthless talks tete responded.

They continued in their journey but quietly this time.

after a while, they spotted a big lizard in a trap already
it was about to breathe its last when they found it

joyfully they looked around to see if anyone would show up to claim the trapped lizard.
but no one showed up. so, they began to feast happily

tete ate in bits while lala tore off a big portion and tried to force it down its throat to no avail.

Again, again, again and again lala tried
but all this time, tete kept on eating in bits and was getting fuller and stronger .

when tete became filled  to the brim,
He took some  pieces in bits and started stuffing it into his bag.

all this time, lala was yet to eat or swallow anything as it struggled hard to take a very big chunk from the now dead lizard

Lala's grumbling and incessant noise it made on the grass from battling with the anger of not being able to eat anything yet, triggered the swifter movement of the hunters who heard such strange sounds from the direction where they had laid their trap.

shouting to scare  the intruder from afar off, lala and tete scurried away with lala having nothing to eat.

lala cried all the way back because all the time it had been unable to eat anything due to its greed.

okay lala you can have some of mine that I kept in my bag.

never lala said;
"give me all or
give me none"

no problems then, said tete.

i will just head on home, since you don't want my offer,  see ya, tete said.
go now!
get going i dont care.
nonsense!
lala said.

bye, tete waved.

As he had another bite of the meat in its bag.
Lala tried hard to catch up with tete's speed to no avail because it grew weaker and fainted on the way for lack of strength.
.                              THE END

LESSONS:

1.) no matter your BIG DREAMS, ASPIRATIONS, WORK/ ASSIGNMENT
take them one by one in bits and you will achieve them.

2.) trying to get them all your plans done at once most times leaves you with doing and achieving nothing

so,
a little now a
 little later is the
name of the game.
